IT’S ALL ABOUT WHAT FEELS GOOD

Hi! I’m Ericka J, world traveler and small-town girl with a passion for travel and all things black. Black people, black culture, black rhythm, black experiences across the globe and everything in between. I’ve traveled the world and touched down in five of the seven continents – And honestly, there’s no place like home. “Home” sums up just how I felt when I first touched down on African soil. It just felt right.

No matter if you’re in Brasil, the Caribbean, the U.S., the UK, Europe or Africa, I truly believe we are all one family.  The more I travel the more I see it in our foods, our skin, our hair, our movements, our styles and our shapes.  I believe every person of African descent should travel home to experience Africa for themselves.

I created Jetsetters Africa for black people who love, are curious about or have always wanted to visit Africa to connect to the continent, its people and explore all the wonderfulness it has to offer.  The goal of Jetsetters Africa is not only to connect black people of the African diaspora to the motherland but also to support and patronize the local economies and people.

Whether you’d love to hit that shoulder dance in Ethiopia, pound some fufu in Ghana, check out the beautiful beaches of Madagascar, whip up some jollof in Nigeria, or take in the beauty of Kenya, we’ll take you there.

If traveling to the continent makes you want to pop on some Fela Kuti and Burna Boy afrobeat to get your Shaku Shaku on, you’ve come to the right place.  You can connect with us two ways.

“I had a great experience in Ghana for the Year of Return! I had an opportunity to see some amazing historical sights, connect with my people and party. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for top notch accommodations, activities and a powerful cultural experience.”
